Problem with importing ZMA's?

Post by weinstro » Wed Jun 15, 2016 1:25 am

Hi,

Does WinPCD drop any rows in a ZMA file that contains data below < 10 Hz?

I have several ZMA's I downloaded from PE that go down to 1 Hz. When I import these files, a dialog box appears telling me that 79 lines were rejected due to range or data type issues. The problem can be resolved by deleting the first 79 lines, which corresponds to all data < 10 Hz.

Importing traced ZMA files does not present an issue, but those generally start at 20 Hz.

Thanks and regards,

Rob

WinPCD does drop anything below 10Hz. For purposes of a crossover, <10Hz doesn't have any impact in passive systems. This is subwoofer territory, so I left it out since it would simply add additional processing time for no benefit.
